University faces legal action

University of Birmingham faces legal action from students over allegations of religious discrimination...

Students at the University of Birmingham have instructed solicitors to take legal proceedings against the University after their elections results were annulled BASED ON ALLEGATIONS of election fraud earlier last year.

Elections for the NUS Conference took place on the 25th October 2004 . All of the elected delegates were to be of Muslim origin (14 out of 14). However after much pressure, the Students' Union supported by the University, annulled the elections, and ....
